Using a dedicated blade, the surface roughness on the sides has been finished very beautifully.

We introduce examples of aluminum precision machining products from Asahi Seiko Co., Ltd. The processed products made from the material AL52S, used in semiconductor robots, are machined parts produced through cutting. Simply machining these parts does not yield the required precision. It is essential to separate the rough and finishing processes, and the clamping force of the workpiece in the vice is one of the skills of a craftsman. Additionally, because we use specialized cutting tools, the surface roughness on the sides is finished very beautifully. We will introduce other examples of processed products from Asahi Seiko Co., Ltd. These are machined parts used in semiconductor robots, featuring precision machining and high-quality anodized finishes. Each tolerance area cannot achieve accuracy simply by machining. Both rough and finish machining are important, but specialized jigs and processes are crucial. Additionally, there are specifications for the thickness of the black anodized coating, so we finish the tolerance areas while considering this thickness. Any color inconsistency in the black anodized finish is unacceptable, and even pinprick-like spots that are visible to the naked eye are considered defects! This represents an astonishing level of quality. Initially, we faced significant issues, but through close collaboration with our anodizing suppliers, we have achieved stable supply. Furthermore, while it has become common knowledge now, we cannot arbitrarily change processes for products from "Copy Igductory." This is a machining example of the mascot character, Aiject-kun.

This is a product case called "Iject-kun," created to commemorate the introduction of our 5-axis machining center. We manufactured the mascot character of Iject Co., Ltd. using aluminum (A5056) machining. Dividing the parts with 2 MCs, we achieved production with a 2-axis machining center! Machining complex shapes from titanium 64 round bars.

We would like to introduce a case of complex shape machining (machining) that we have undertaken. By dividing the parts and processing them with two MC machines, we achieved production with a 2-axis machining center. Through trial and error with the responsible operator on how to process products equivalent to 5-axis machining using in-house processing machines, we successfully completed the machining. The above product is processed from a round bar of Φ80×150mm. With our SMM2500 (manufactured by Yamazaki Mazak), which has a maximum spindle speed of 25,000 RPM, we can significantly reduce processing time and lower costs compared to the standard 12,000 RPM. Furthermore, thanks to comprehensive thermal displacement measures, we achieve stable high-precision machining even during long hours of continuous operation.
